WindowlessClassroom is run by Sarah Bouckoms, a scientist, explorer and educator. She has a background in Physics working with the IceCube Neutrino Observatory and Antarctic Studies. This transitioned into a position as a traditional classroom educator for 6 years. While she loved her students, there were other opportunities she wished to chase. This lead to various contract jobs, lecturing and working in the Polar Tourism industry. She is a council member for Polar Educators International. As a member of the Explorers Club she is a co-chair of the Polar Film Festival an active member in the NGEN group for the Next Generation of Explorers. She is an EMT and Wilderness EMT,  involved in local EMS.  For fun she loves to ice climb, trail run and ride horses. She writes this blog about the adventures in education she has had through her travels and experiences.
