Work Experience

April - October    Working with ChristchurchNZ to develop The Explorers Club branch in Christchurch  2019                        and hosting the Polar Film Festival throughout New Zealand. 

April - October   Antarctic Heritage Trust Young Inspiring Explorers Programme Manager

2019                 20 New Zealand students to participate in a weekend in Christchurch to develop the 

                         spirit of exploration. In partnership with the William Pike Challenge Award

 

October –             Albatros Expeditions Expedition Staff and Medical Emergency

December 2018   Response Team leader and Snow shoe guide. Five expeditions of Tourists to the

                            Antarctic Peninsula. Coordinated the Citizen Science Program

           

July and                Participate in the Students On Ice Arctic Expedition coordinating the                      

August 2018  -     Citizen Science program for 128 students on board the 3 week expedition           

August 2013  - June 2018  Physics Teacher – Miss Porters School, Farmington, CT.  Conceptual                                    PhysicsClass, Environmental Lab Science, Robotics, Climate Change and Astronomy.

 

August 2016 – Citizen Science Program coordinate with Adventure Canada on Arctic Explorer                                        Itinerary. Working with 130 passengers on expedition style cruising to high Arctic and                                Greenland. Sea Ice, Marine life and Seechi disk observations were recorded for long term                          data records.

 

June - August 2013 – Juneau Icefield Research Project, Safety Field Staff position.

                        Assisted with 125 miles ski traverse from Juneau , AK to Atiln, BC over  8

                       week period. Taught skiing, rope skills, knots, first aid, communications and assisted with                         various research projects from  mass balance to GPS survey.

 

August 2012 – June 2013 – Physics teacher – Hebrew High School of New England.
